Alayna Jones is a multimedia artist based in England, Arkansas. She holds an associate degree in Graphic Communications and is currently pursuing a BFA in Studio Art at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she was named to the 2025 Dean’s List. Working in painting and mixed media, her practice explores the intersection of emotion, decay, and the tension between the artificial and the natural.

She is particularly drawn to moments where nature overtakes man-made forms, using this process of deterioration as a metaphor for emotional complexity and transformation. Jones often works intuitively, allowing material processes such as layering, cracking, and erosion to guide each piece. By embracing decay and imperfection, her work reveals beauty in breakdown, inviting viewers to reconsider what they perceive as damaged, mundane, or off-putting.
